Associate Corporate M&A – Brussels / Antwerp

For our client, a leading independent Belgian law firm, we are looking for a talented Associate with 3 to 5 years' experience in Corporate M&A. Fluent in Dutch with excellent command of English and good knowledge of French.

The firm's Corporate & Finance practice provides clients with practical and business-wise solutions in all corporate and M&A matters, including capital markets, corporate governance, reorganisations, private equity and venture capital, joint ventures, as well as corporate litigation.

The clients it serves encompass the whole spectrum of corporate players, ranging from start-ups and multinational corporations to sovereign entities, private equity sponsors, family offices, and foundations.

Its Corporate & Finance practice is one of the largest in Belgium. By seamlessly combining their expertise and knowledge, its lawyers are able to quickly address clients’ needs on all aspects of corporate and transactional law. They work seamlessly across disciplines and jurisdictions, collaborating daily with top-tier foreign law firms to deliver high-quality, practical solutions.

As a Mid-level Associate, you will:

• Work on a wide array of transactions, including M&A, private equity, venture capital, and capital markets deals
• Draft, review and negotiate key transaction documents
• Manage matters from start to finish with direct client interaction and increasing autonomy
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and borders, including daily contact with international law firms

• You hold a firstclass Belgian law degree. Additional education abroad and/or advanced master’s degree in corporate/business law is a plus
• You have 3 to 5 years' experience in Corporate M&A 
• You combine strong legal skills with a pragmatic, businessoriented approach
• You are proactive, organised, and able to handle tight deadlines
• You are a team player and can work independently
• You are eager to grow, take initiative, and make a tangible impact within the team
• You are fluent in Dutch and have an excellent command of English and a good knowledge of French
